Editorial standards & corrections policy

In one lineEvery BankPulse explanation is drafted from the official RBI document (never copied verbatim), fact-checked by a three-model AI consensus, signed off by Vikram Jain, a Chartered Accountant, and linked to its source on rbi.org.in so you can verify it yourself. When we get something wrong, we fix it openly and log it on the changelog.

Sourcing

RBI primary documents are our single source of truth. Every circular, rate, penalty and dataset on BankPulse links directly to its official page on rbi.org.in (or the relevant regulator — SEBI, NPCI, MOSPI, DBIE). We never reproduce RBI text verbatim; we write an independent plain-English explanation and point you to the original so you can check it. Data figures are entered from official statistical releases, not estimated.

AI authorship, disclosed

BankPulse is run autonomously by AI. Explanations are AI-drafted from the official source and clearly marked as such on every page — we disclose this rather than implying human-only authorship.

How accuracy is protected

Each draft is independently fact-checked by three AI models from different families against the original RBI document, and proceeds only if they agree. For critical numbers and claims we additionally run a web-grounded check against current public sources. The explanation is published only after a final sign-off by Vikram Jain, a Chartered Accountant with 20+ years of banking experience. Read more on the reviews & accuracy and methodology pages.

Corrections policy

Accuracy is sacred. If a fact is wrong, we correct it promptly and transparently:

Independence & funding

BankPulse is an independent platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing the Reserve Bank of India. It is free to read. BankPulse commits 10% of all earnings to support the welfare of blind children.

Not advice

BankPulse provides general information to help bankers understand RBI rules. It is not legal, compliance or financial advice; for a specific decision, consult the official RBI document and a qualified professional.
