What changed
FIU-IND has confirmed October 20, 2012 as the go-live date for the FINnet Gateway. Banks must stop submitting reports in CD format after this date and use only the FINnet gateway with the new XML reporting format. Any CD-based report received after October 20 will not be considered a valid submission.
What it means for you
RRBs and co-operative banks must complete their migration to the FINnet Gateway by October 20, 2012. Failure to upload reports in the new XML format via FINnet will result in non-compliance, as FIU-IND will reject CD submissions. This is a hard deadline for transitioning to digital reporting.
What you must do
- Ensure your bank is fully onboarded to FINnet Gateway and can upload reports in the new XML format by October 20, 2012.
- Stop all CD-based report submissions after October 20, 2012; only FINnet uploads will be accepted.
- Contact FIU-IND help desk at 011-24109792/93 for any clarification or technical assistance.
- Acknowledge receipt of this circular to your respective RBI Regional Office.
Who it affects
All Regional Rural Banks (RRBs), All State Co-operative Banks, All Central Co-operative Banks, Compliance Officers and Principal Officers of these banks
