Formation of new district in the State of Assam – Assignment of Lead Bank Responsibility
The Government of Assam (GoA) has notified formation of new district, viz., Bajali in the state of Assam vide Gazette Notification No. ECF-No.367433/32 dated October 11, 2023. Jurisdictional demarcation of the Bajali district was notified vide GoA Notification dated October 21, 2024. Accordingly, it has been decided to designate the Lead Bank of the new district as below:
