Check my policy for old circulars
Paste a policy, a manual, an audit note or a checklist. This page finds every RBI circular number in it. For each one it says whether RBI has withdrawn it, on which date, and by which notice.
Why this matters now. On 28 November 2025 RBI withdrew 9,445 circulars in one day. On 31 July 2026 it repealed 628 more. A policy written before those dates may still quote numbers that no longer exist. An inspector or auditor will notice.

What this page can and cannot do
It can find circular numbers written with a department code and a slash. DOR.CRE.REC.402/07-01-001/2025-26 is one. DBOD.No.BC.140/09.07.007/93 is another. Spaces and dashes inside a number do not matter.
It cannot check a Master Direction quoted by name only. It cannot check RBI's running serial numbers, like RBI/2025-26/100. It does not read what your policy says. It only checks the numbers.
"Not in the lists" is not "in force". A rule can close an older one without naming it in a list. Before you rely on a number, open What replaced what.
