Banks must act under Chapter IX of the 2025 know your customer directions.
2. Use UN circulated lists
Banks must use the lists that the United Nations Security Council approves and sends from time to time.
3. Check updated lists
Banks must use the latest lists of persons linked to ISIL, Al‐Qaida and Taliban at the given web links.
4. Forward delisting requests
Banks must email every delisting request they get to Joint Secretary (CTCR), Ministry of Home Affairs.
5. Ensure full compliance
Banks must note these United Nations Security Council updates and follow them very carefully.
