BankPulseBETARegulatory intelligence for Indian banking

BankPulse · Terms of Use

The rules for using this service. Last updated 20 August 2026.

The short version. BankPulse tells you what changed in Indian banking rules and links you to the official source. It is information, not legal advice. Before you act, check the RBI document we link to. It is free to read and you can leave any time.

1. What BankPulse is

BankPulse is an independent publisher. We read what RBI publishes. We put it in plain English. We link to the original every time. We are not the RBI. We are not connected to the RBI, and nothing here is approved by them.

2. This is information, not advice

We are not your lawyer, your auditor or your compliance officer. What you read here is a summary written to save you time. It is not legal, financial or regulatory advice.

Before you act on anything, open the RBI link and read the original. Every item we publish has that link for exactly this reason. If our summary and the RBI document disagree, the RBI document is right and we are wrong.

3. We can be wrong, and we say so publicly

We try hard to be accurate. We will still make mistakes. When we find one, we write it on the Corrections page with the date, what was wrong and what changed. We do not quietly edit and pretend it never happened.

If you spot a mistake, tell us at contactus@bankpulse.ai. We would rather be corrected than be trusted wrongly.

4. RBI material and copyright

Where we quote RBI, we quote a short extract. We always link to the full document on rbi.org.in. Those words belong to the Reserve Bank of India. We claim no rights in them. Our own writing — the summaries, the classification, the "who must act" analysis — belongs to BankPulse.

You may quote our work with credit and a link back. Please do not republish a whole edition as if it were your own.

5. Using the service

  • Reading the website is free and needs no account.
  • The email brief is free. You confirm your email first, and you can unsubscribe with one click at any time.
  • Do not scrape the site in a way that degrades it for other readers.
  • Do not use BankPulse to break the law.

6. What we do not promise

We do not promise the service will never go down. We do not promise every item will always be complete or on time. We publish on a best-effort basis. If something breaks, we would rather show yesterday's verified brief than today's broken one.

Always act on the official RBI document, not on our summary. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss caused by doing otherwise.

7. Your data

How we handle personal data is set out separately in our Privacy Policy. In short: we do not sell it. We run no advertising trackers. You can have it deleted whenever you ask.

8. Changes and governing law

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will change the date at the top. We will also say so in the daily brief. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
