Ask a question about an RBI rule. The answer is written only from BankPulse’s own plain-English points. Under every answer you see where it comes from: our rule page, the RBI document and the paragraph number.
When our points do not answer your question, the tool says Not verified. It never guesses and never fills the gap from memory or the open web.
What this tool can and cannot do
- Can answer: questions about RBI circulars, Master Directions and Master Circulars that are already in BankPulse’s library, using the plain-English points BankPulse has written for them, with a citation for every sentence.
- Cannot answer: anything about one customer’s account, transaction or dispute.
- Also cannot answer: questions that need legal advice, or any document not yet in the library.
- What it says instead: for these it says Not verified. It does not guess.

How this works
BankPulse reads every RBI rule and writes each paragraph as a short point in plain English. This tool searches those points, picks the ones that match your question, and writes a short answer from them only. Every sentence carries the number of the point it comes from.
The points are BankPulse’s own words, not RBI’s. They are our reading of the rule. For the exact wording, open the RBI document from the link under the answer. Nothing here is legal advice.
Each question is stored without your name or email. Only the question and what happened are kept. This lets us test and improve the tool. About 30 questions an hour per reader.
The Reserve Bank of India publishes every one of these documents at rbi.org.in.
